I have been attending “Senioren” English courses at Small Talk for two years. We are a lovely little group and have a lot of fun learning good English in an informal atmosphere.
The English class is nice. I like learning. I have a lot of fun because of the informal atmosphere.
Even without previous knowledge of English, you will be in the right place for this course. It always goes at the right pace which enables us all to be at the same level.
Sylvia Wabersitzki has done specialised translations into the English language for our company, with which we are extremely satisfied.
Seminar : October 2014I was very pleased that Jean from England has run a seminar again this year in Groß-Umstadt. It was a great experience last year to be able to hone our pronunciation with a native speaker. The two hours went by much too quickly again this year. With funny tongue twisters and varied exercises Jean challenged our linguistic skills. Thank you Jean, thank you Sylvia for this great British evening.Well done! 🙂
Business English : I need Business English daily at work for emails and phonecalls. A long time ago I decided to brush up and improve the English I learnt in school while attending an English course. The English course run by Frau Wabersitzki is well-managed and it is fun learning in a small group. We always learn something new for work.
I have always wanted to learn English. Unfortunately I never had the courage. At the age of 66 a friend took me to Groß-Umstadt for a trial lesson at SmallTalk. Two years have gone by since then and learning in the group with our patient teacher, Sylvia, is a lot of fun.
I found the day trips great, especially to London. It was a wonderful day. In the lessons I learnt to speak better English. The food and bedroom were very nice.
I talk to Jean via Skype once a week. We chat about funny everyday happenings and she corrects my mistakes and helps with my pronunciation. In this easy and natural way I learn to speak English better.
We often used to come back from a long weekend on Mondays. Now we come back on Sunday evenings so I can come to my English course on Monday mornings.
